Carnival Liberty Review

Review by Mrs C Reid
We booked a Stay and Cruise with Virgin Holidays. Our first week
in Fort Lauderdale was perfect from start to finish and I began to worry as
it was my choice to go on a cruise, my husband was not a cruise fan. It
had a lot to live up to, however it did not let me down.
We sailed on the Carnival Liberty and it was just fantastic. Our cabin was
lovely, and we met some very nice people at dinner who we are keeping in
touch with.
The shows were great and we the food was excellent. We ate at Harry's
Supper Club and it is years since I had food as good that. The staff made
your feel like a Princess. The ship had so many buffet places to eat and I
had read some bad reports about the buffets, however we found a small place
on the top deck where they cooked the food fresh as you ordered it. It was
great to stand and watch them.
The stops in Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico were excellent. We took the
tours in Grand Cayman and Mexico and it was worth every penny.
I expected the shops on board the ship to be very expensive, however they
were very reasonable, so I was able to spend more.
The ship had lots of photographers on board and as I wanted decent pictures
I was happy to get them taken. There was no pressure to buy however the
photographers were very good.
My only complaint is that I went to play a game of bingo (not my usual
thing) for a cruise. I was waiting for 1 number for about 20 numbers. I
was so sure I was going to win it, however no such luck.
We would definately go on this ship again. It has something for everyone
and I could not fault it.
