Although larger than there existing ships, Balmoral is still compact enough to offer that intimate, homely atmosphere which is so much there trademark. The combination of Balmoral's elegant comfortable cabins, world class cuisine and diverse on board activities has been designed to appeal particularly to the rapidly expanding British cruise market.

Cabin Types

	Superior Outside Cabin (A) This cabin is approximately 200 square feet in size and can be found on Lido Deck. Slightly larger than a B grade, these cabins have picture windows and a bathroom with bath and/or shower. Facilities include an interactive television.
	Superior Outside Cabin (B) This cabin is approximately 165 square feet in size and can be found on Lido and Main Decks. This grade of cabin has a picture window and a bathroom with bath and/or shower. Facilities include an interactive television.
	Superior Balcony Cabin (BA) This cabin is approximately 190 square feet in size and can be found on Bridge Deck.Slightly larger than a Balcony Cabin, this cabin has a balcony, bathroom with shower or bath and shower, and an interactive television.
	Outside Twin Double (BC) This cabin is approximately 180 square feet in size, and can be found on Lido and Bridge Decks.This cabin has a balcony, bathroom with shower or bath and shower, and an interactive television.
	Wheelchair Adapted (BD) Wheelchair Adapted
	Balcony Junior Suite (BJ) This suite is approximately 200 square feet in size and can be found on Highland, Bridge and Lido Decks. This suite has a bedroom with a large sitting area and french doors leading onto a veranda. There is an en-suite bathroom with bath and/or shower. Facilities include an interactive television, DVD and CD player, mini-bar and/or refrigerator.

	Outside Twin Double (C) This cabin is approximately 165 square feet in size and can be found on the Atlantic Deck. These cabins have picture windows and a bathroom with bath and/or shower. Facilities include an interactive television.
	Outside Twin Double (D) This cabin is approximately 165 square feet in size, and can be found on Atlantic and Coral Decks. These cabins have picture windows and a bathroom with bath and/or shower. Facilities include an interactive television.
	Outside Twin Double (E) This cabin is approximately 165 square feet in size and can be found on the Coral Deck. These cabins have picture windows and a bathroom with bath and/or shower. Facilities include an interactive television.
	Outside Twin Double (F) This cabin is approximately 165 square feet in size and can be found on both Coral and Marina Decks. These cabins have picture windows and a bathroom with bath and/or shower. Facilities include an interactive television.
	Superior Inside (G) This cabin is approximately 160 square feet in size and can be found on Lido, Bridge and Main decks. These cabins have a bathroom with bath and/or shower, and an interactive television. Cabins 9048, 9056 and 9095 on Bridge Deck have been adapted for use by disabled passengers.

Cruise Line

The company originated in Hvitsten, a small town on Oslofjord in Norway, in 1848 when three Olsen brothers – Fredrik Christian, Petter and Andreas – bought their first ships and began an international shipping company.
