First class service as always - why go elsewhere?

My wife and I are serial cruisers and always book with SCC, speaking to Joanne Henry. She always gives us a first class service and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of cruising. She helps source us all the best deals snd nothing is too much trouble. Why go elsewhere ? 10/10 to SCC.

Rosyth is in good proximity to the heartlands of Scotland, and many historic attractions are within an hours drive of Rosyth. Also within easy reach of Rosyth is the city of Edinburgh. You can explore this historic city, experiencing the famous Military tattoo, the museum of Scotland, as well as Edinburgh castle itself.

Day 2 - At Sea

Day 3 - Skagen

Arrive: Sun 03 July 2022 / Depart: Sun 03 July 2022

Offering incredible scenery, classic Danish character and delicious seafood, Skagen is a joy to behold. Facilitated by its fishing harbour – the largest in Denmark – the town continues to prosper and develop. This is highlighted by the charming boutiques and galleries of the town centre and expensive villas, summer houses and hotels that have been built in recent years. The town has many museums and other attractions to visit including the Skagens Museum, Teddy Bear Museum – home to a collection of over 1000 teddy bears, a nature centre and a 14th century church known as ‘The Sand-Covered Church’, a church so badly affected by desertification that only it’s tower can be seen.

Day 4 - Hundested, Denmark

Day 4 - Copenhagen, Denmark

Arrive: Mon 04 July 2022

With its vibrant atmosphere, modern culture and beautiful architecture, Copenhagen is the essence of Scandinavian cool. One of Europe's oldest and most popular cities, Copenhagen is also one of the cleanest and most cosmopolitan. Its narrow streets are always busy with welcoming locals and are lined with colourful cafes, bars, shops and places to eat. Its bridges ring with cycling commuters and the pristine waterways make visiting this city a wonderful experience. The historic centre of Denmark’s capital, an 18th-century rococo district, is home to the Royal Family’s Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace and Rosenborg Castle, surrounded by beautiful gardens and is the home of the Danish crown jewels. The Little Mermaid sculpture at Langelinje Pier is a must-visit attraction too. Take a wander through pretty Nyhavn – Copenhagen’s 17th century waterfront and canal district – and you'll revel postcard-perfect scenes of historic wooden ships set to a backdrop of brightly coloured 17th and 18th century townhouses, many of which have been converted into bars and restaurants.

Day 6 - Fredericia

Arrive: Wed 06 July 2022 / Depart: Wed 06 July 2022

The Danish fortress town of Fredericia in Eastern Jutland boasts an intriguing medieval and military past, stretching back to the Thirty Years’ War. Founded by Frederick III in 1650, the old ramparts and historic fortifications can be seen on a stroll through the delightful town centre, and are peppered with statues, cannons and gates. The Prince’s Gate – the main gateway into the town until 1925, the Old Town Hall and the iconic Foot Soldier Statue are all worth discovering. The town is now a major barracks, and home to the Royal Danish Army's Signals Regiment. A blue-flag beach is a short distance from the town centre, as is the Gunpowder Tower, built in 1675 and said to be the town’s oldest building. From Fredericia visitors can tour the fairy-tale city of Odense, which is home to the fascinating Hans Christian Andersen Museum, the beautiful, gothic-style Sankt Kunds Cathedral and Funen Village – a unique open-air museum showcasing what life was like in 18th and 19th century Denmark. Billund, the home of Lego, is also easily accessible..

Day 7 - Cruising Limfjorden

Day 7 - Aalborg, Denmark

Arrive: Thu 07 July 2022 / Depart: Thu 07 July 2022

Aalborg's charming historic city, with its fabulously revitalized waterfront, sits serenely on the Limfjord, the impressive body of water that cuts through Jutland. Often referred to as the Paris of the North, the city's well preserved medieval landmarks such as the 14th century cathedral and the half-timbered Aalborghus Castle – the castle that doesn’t look like a castle –nestle alongside the vibrant bars and cafes of Jomfu Ane Gade, possibly Denmark’s most famous street. The Aalborg Historical Museum tells the port’s 1,000-year history, while bathing at the Havnebad outdoor pool, exhibitions at the Utzon Centre and the futuristic House of Music, are all worth visiting. The city’s friendly atmosphere is always a pleasure to explore. Away from the port, the nearby beaches of Bisnap, Møllestenen and Hou South offer a little rest and relaxation.
