Beaches or bargains, the sea or sights. Palma has it all, together with enough sunshine and souvenirs to keep anyone happy. If you like beaches, cafes or simply lazing around in the sunshine, you'll love Palma, together with the nearby resorts of Palma Nova and Magaluf. Before you relax, though, make sure you visit Palma City itself to see the Moorish palace, the designer stores and the quaint shops and cobbled streets of the old city, behind the Gothic Cathedral. And for souvenirs, make a bee-line for Inca, the largest street market on the island which opens every Thursday.

Day 2 - At Sea

Day 3 - Savona, Italy

Arrive: Mon 20 June 2022 at 08:00 / Depart: Mon 20 June 2022 at 17:00

Savona’s located on the shores of the Ligurian Sea, at the very top of Italy’s boot. Yachts and cruise liners bob in the narrow harbour, which juggles traditional architecture with modern waterside apartments. The city itself boasts a bumper crop of historic landmarks, from the 16th-century Priamar Fortress to the stunning Sistine Chapel – a frescoed mausoleum with a famous namesake in Vatican City. Its biggest claim-to-fame, though, is that it was once home to explorer Christopher Columbus. Do your own exploring beyond the city limits, and you can drive to big-hitters like Genoa and Turin in an hour or two, respectively.

Day 4 - Olbia, Sardinia

Arrive: Tue 21 June 2022 at 09:00 / Depart: Tue 21 June 2022 at 17:00

Often called the Gateway to the Emerald Coast, the NorthEastern port of Olbia is tucked into a bay in the Tyrrhenian Sea and is one of Europe's most fashionable resort areas.

Day 5 - Calvi, Corsica

Arrive: Wed 22 June 2022 at 08:00 / Depart: Wed 22 June 2022 at 18:00

There’s no better way to arrive in Calvi than by cruise ship. As you pull into the iconic harbour, you’ll be greeted by its towering citadel. Beneath the soaring peaks of the Monte Cinto, this 15th-century outpost keeps watch over the whole town. Look beyond it, and you’ll discover a stylish holiday playground that’s a magnet for the yacht-owning super-rich. Cue designer boutiques, trendy seafood restaurants, and a four-mile stretch of glistening white sand.......

Day 6 - Toulon (for Cote d'Azur)

Arrive: Thu 23 June 2022 at 09:00 / Depart: Thu 23 June 2022 at 18:00

Toulon is a port city on southern France’s Mediterranean coast, lined with sandy beaches and shingle coves. It’s a significant naval base and the harbor is home to submarines and warships, as well as fishing boats and ferries. The grand Musée National de la Marine in the Port of Toulon exhibits maritime artifacts. Rugged limestone mountains form a backdrop to the city, and a cable car shuttles visitors up Mont Faron.

Day 7 - Tarragona, Spain

Arrive: Fri 24 June 2022 at 11:00 / Depart: Fri 24 June 2022 at 19:00

Steeped in historical interest and home to one of Europe's largest amusement parks, the charming Catalonian port of Tarragona really does have something for everyone. Developed by Julius Caesar and favoured by archaeologists for its wealth of Roman artefacts, charismatic Tarragona perches on a rocky hill overlooking the Mediterranean. On the hill's southern slopes, the old town contains many sites of historical interest. Quiet pedestrian streets make browsing in the many antique shops and grottos a real pleasure, while to the east you can stroll along the beautiful terraced avenue of Paseo de les Palmeres. Closer to port you can ramble along a pathway, taking in the ancient city walls and cypress-lined gardens. If you want to get off the beaten track, head to nearby Montserrat (pictured above) for stunning views of the Catalan countryside.

Day 8 - Palma, Majorca

Arrive: Sat 25 June 2022 / Depart: Sat 25 June 2022 at 22:00

Day 9 - At Sea

Day 10 - Ajaccio, Corsica

Arrive: Mon 27 June 2022 at 08:00 / Depart: Mon 27 June 2022 at 16:00

Sitting amidst a varied landscape of mountains and beaches, the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte on the west coast of Corsica is a wonderful destination to explore. The breathtaking sight when you sail into Ajaccio, with the crystal blue waters contrasting with the green of the beautiful countryside, is just the introduction to Ajaccio. Boasting Corsican architecture as well as a famous military leader, the town features a fascinating blend of French and Italian influences.

Day 11 - Rome (Civitavecchia)

Arrive: Tue 28 June 2022 at 07:00 / Depart: Tue 28 June 2022 at 19:00

Your gateway to the Eternal City, Civitavecchia has served as Rome's seaport since the 13th century. The port has a long and venerable history. The emperor Trajan built a pleasure villa near the modern city, while Bernini and Michelangelo designed the harbor fortifications. Yet the Eternal City eternally beckons. The ancient capital of the Western World and the center of Christianity for nearly 2,000 years, Rome provides an inexhaustible feast. Visit the ruins of the Forum, view the splendors of the Sistine Chapel, or climb the Spanish Steps, once the heart of Rome's Bohemian Quarter. Rome has been a magnet luring the world's greatest artists, architects, and philosophers since the days of the Caesars.

Day 12 - Livorno, Italy

Arrive: Wed 29 June 2022 at 07:00 / Depart: Wed 29 June 2022 at 19:00

Think sights, sights and more sights. This is the perfect excuse to discover the real pleasures of Tuscany, and the real magic of Pisa. Wander through the ancient cobbled streets of Florence amd enjoy a coffee or Italian ice cream while you soak in the atmosphere. Visit the Uffizi Galleries, one of the best art museums in the world, before taking in the famous Duomo cathedral, the Santo Spirito church and the magnificent bronze doors of the Basilica, aptly named 'the gates of heaven' by Michelangelo. And then wonder if the Leaning Tower, one of four impressive buildings in the Field of Miracles in Pisa, really is a hidden treasures and ambience of Pisa itself.

Day 13 - St Raphael, France

Arrive: Thu 30 June 2022 at 08:00 / Depart: Thu 30 June 2022 at 17:00

St Raphael is the girl next door of southern France. Compared to its flashy cousins down the coast, it’s more of a shy and retiring kind of place. The town sits on the edge of 36 kilometres of unspoilt coastline, and it’s overlooked by acres of natural forest and the terracotta-coloured peaks of the Esterel Mountain range. Dramont beach is a real favourite with families – head here with the little ones to build a sandcastle. St Raphael gives you easy access to A-list favourite, St Tropez. This upmarket slice of the French Riviera is a hotspot for the world’s elite, and it’s packed with expensive boutiques, smart restaurants and luxury yachts.

Day 14 - Barcelona, Spain
