Day 1 - Palma

Arrive: Tue 17 August 2021 / Depart: Tue 17 August 2021 at 22:00

Beaches or bargains, the sea or sights. Palma has it all, together with enough sunshine and souvenirs to keep anyone happy. If you like beaches, cafes or simply lazing around in the sunshine, you'll love Palma, together with the nearby resorts of Palma Nova and Magaluf. Before you relax, though, make sure you visit Palma City itself to see the Moorish palace, the designer stores and the quaint shops and cobbled streets of the old city, behind the Gothic Cathedral. And for souvenirs, make a bee-line for Inca, the largest street market on the island which opens every Thursday.

Day 2 - At Sea

Day 3 - Florence/Pisa

Arrive: Thu 19 August 2021 at 07:00 / Depart: Thu 19 August 2021 at 19:00

Think sights, sights and more sights. This is the perfect excuse to discover the real pleasures of Tuscany, and the real magic of Pisa. Wander through the ancient cobbled streets of Florence amd enjoy a coffee or Italian ice cream while you soak in the atmosphere. Visit the Uffizi Galleries, one of the best art museums in the world, before taking in the famous Duomo cathedral, the Santo Spirito church and the magnificent bronze doors of the Basilica, aptly named 'the gates of heaven' by Michelangelo. And then wonder if the Leaning Tower, one of four impressive buildings in the Field of Miracles in Pisa, really is a hidden treasures and ambience of Pisa itself.

Day 4 - Savona

Arrive: Fri 20 August 2021 at 07:00 / Depart: Fri 20 August 2021 at 19:00

Savona’s located on the shores of the Ligurian Sea, at the very top of Italy’s boot. Yachts and cruise liners bob in the narrow harbour, which juggles traditional architecture with modern waterside apartments. The city itself boasts a bumper crop of historic landmarks, from the 16th-century Priamar Fortress to the stunning Sistine Chapel – a frescoed mausoleum with a famous namesake in Vatican City. Its biggest claim-to-fame, though, is that it was once home to explorer Christopher Columbus. Do your own exploring beyond the city limits, and you can drive to big-hitters like Genoa and Turin in an hour or two, respectively.

Day 5 - Monaco

Arrive: Sat 21 August 2021 at 08:00 / Depart: Sat 21 August 2021 at 18:00

Monaco, officially the Principality of Monaco, is a sovereign city-state and microstate on the French Riviera close to the Italian region of Liguria, in Western Europe. Bordered by France to the north, east and west, it is lapped by the Mediterranean Sea to the south.

Day 6 - Toulon

Arrive: Sun 22 August 2021 at 09:00 / Depart: Sun 22 August 2021 at 18:00

Fusing French Riviera glam with the feel of a traditional old town, Toulon is your gorgeous gateway to the Côte d’Azur. Follow the sound of popping corks and clinking champagne flutes to über-stylish St-Tropez, a long-time glitterati favourite. Venture into Aix en Provence and find out about its dual identity. This place is known as the Town of Water thanks to its fountains and the Town of Art because of its many museums. See for yourself if there’s any truth in French poet Frédéric Mistral’s famous words ‘He who has seen Paris and not Cassis has seen nothing!’. Little changed by time, Cassis is still much the same little fishing port that first attracted artists like Signac and Derain, eager to capture its serene charm. Venture into the breathtaking Provence countryside and stumble upon sleepy French villages. This enchanting region has inspired many a great master, including Van Gogh and Cézanne.

Day 7 - Barcelona

Arrive: Mon 23 August 2021 at 09:00 / Depart: Mon 23 August 2021 at 18:00

Its phenomenal reputation makes other cities positively green with envy, and bohemian Barcelona continues to top the popularity charts. So what makes it such a big hit? Well, where do we start?

Day 8 - Palma

Arrive: Tue 24 August 2021 at 06:00 / Depart: Tue 24 August 2021

Day 9 - At Sea

Day 10 - Trapani

Arrive: Thu 26 August 2021 / Depart: Thu 26 August 2021

The Greeks, the Romans, the Saracens, the Normans – they all squabbled over the pretty hook-shaped harbour of Trapani. And no wonder. Packed with reminders of its long and colourful past, this place offers up great sights, waist-bustingly good seafood and bags of that irresistible Sicilian charm. It’s a west coast corner to fall head over heels for.......

Day 11 - Sorrento

Arrive: Fri 27 August 2021 at 07:00 / Depart: Fri 27 August 2021 at 17:00

Sorrento is a coastal town in southwestern Italy, facing the Bay of Naples on the Sorrentine Peninsula. Perched atop cliffs that separate the town from its busy marinas, it’s known for sweeping water views and Piazza Tasso, a cafe-lined square. The historic center is a warren of narrow alleys that's home to the Chiesa di San Francesco, a 14th-century church with a tranquil cloister.

Day 12 - Rome

Arrive: Sat 28 August 2021 at 07:00 / Depart: Sat 28 August 2021 at 19:00

Your gateway to the Eternal City, Civitavecchia has served as Rome's seaport since the 13th century. The port has a long and venerable history. The emperor Trajan built a pleasure villa near the modern city, while Bernini and Michelangelo designed the harbor fortifications. Yet the Eternal City eternally beckons. The ancient capital of the Western World and the center of Christianity for nearly 2,000 years, Rome provides an inexhaustible feast. Visit the ruins of the Forum, view the splendors of the Sistine Chapel, or climb the Spanish Steps, once the heart of Rome's Bohemian Quarter. Rome has been a magnet luring the world's greatest artists, architects, and philosophers since the days of the Caesars.

Day 13 - Ajaccio

Arrive: Sun 29 August 2021 at 09:00 / Depart: Sun 29 August 2021 at 17:00

Sitting amidst a varied landscape of mountains and beaches, the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte on the west coast of Corsica is a wonderful destination to explore. The breathtaking sight when you sail into Ajaccio, with the crystal blue waters contrasting with the green of the beautiful countryside, is just the introduction to Ajaccio. Boasting Corsican architecture as well as a famous military leader, the town features a fascinating blend of French and Italian influences.

Day 14 - Palamos

Arrive: Mon 30 August 2021 at 10:00 / Depart: Mon 30 August 2021 at 18:00

Hundreds of years old, yet now a thriving and modern Spanish port, Palamos gives you a glimpse into the local culture – and the perfect opportunity to relax. On the east coast of Spain, north of Barcelona, Palamos was founded around a natural harbour in 1277. The legacy of fishing continues today and the day's catch is still auctioned on the busy quayside in the late afternoon, giving you the chance to see traditional fishing the Spanish way. That's if you can spare the time from relaxing on the superb beach or taking a tour to Figueres, the famous city where Dali was born and lived until his death in 1989.

Day 15 - Palma

Before you relax, though, make sure you visit Palma City itself to see the Moorish palace, the designer stores and the quaint shops and cobbled streets of the old city, behind the Gothic Cathedral.
