Outstanding service, expertise and experience, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Outstanding service, nothing is a problem, Nicola Boyd seems to go above and beyond top service to solve the many problems that Covid cancellations and rescheduling cruises throws up. She has been excellent and has a great deal of expertise and experience and has booked us cruises in the past, but in the current Covid situation she had to cancel our Alaska trip, dealing with airlines, hotels, train and cruise lines. All of this she took in her stride, and then she helped us book a different cruise from Southampton, and sorted out all the various questions we had to our complete satisfaction. We love cruises and won’t be going anywhere else to book, other than Scotland’s Cruise Centre, and I highly recommend them to friends or anyone looking to book a cruise.

Itinerary for Boston, Canada & New England

Day 1 - Fly UK to Boston / Enjoy Boston

Day 2 - Enjoy Boston

Day 3 - Embark Celebrity Summit in Boston

America’s past and future are on full display in Boston, a modern metropolis known for its top universities, cultural treasures, revolutionary history, and diverse neighborhoods. Spend a day in Cambridge, home to storied colleges including Harvard and MIT. Wander around Boston Common, the country’s oldest public park. Learn all about America’s revolutionary past by visiting the many historic landmarks scattered throughout the city. On a cruise from Boston, you’ll explore picturesque destinations in New England and Canada. Discover the coastal charms of Maine. Practice your French in Quebec City. Sample mussels in Prince Edward Island. Admire the pastoral beauty of Nova Scotia. During the fall, these destinations come alive with breathtaking landscapes full of autumnal hues that you won’t soon forget.

Day 4 - Bar Harbor

The list of residents inhabiting this part of Mount Desert Island once read like a who’s who of America’s richest citizens — Rockefeller, Vanderbilt and Carnegie, to name a few. Now anyone can come and visit the adjacent Acadia National Park, which offers a network of hiking trails leading to some of the region’s most breathtaking views of the Atlantic.

Day 5 - Saint John,nb (bay Of Fundy)

Founded by Loyalists escaping the Revolutionary War in 1785, Saint John has emerged as a thriving port city. Its restored historic waterfront and surrounding natural beauty have made Saint John a wonderful destination. Experience the amazing Reversing Falls Rapids, Saint John's best-known attraction, when twice daily the powerful tides of the Bay of Fundy rise faster than the river can empty. When this happens, the tide attempts to push the river back upstream, then the tide ebbs and the river appears to reverse itself and flow over the rocks, creating the appearance of reversing rapids. Visit St. Martin's Sea Caves and Beach, where you'll see caves carved out by the pounding tides. St. Martins' twin-covered bridges, harbor area and lighthouse are perennial favorites with photographers and painters.

Day 6 - Halifax

Located on the shores of the world's second-largest natural harbor, the "City of Trees" adds to the pastoral beauty of Canada's maritime region. An extensive network of walking trails extends from the waterfront out to a series of beautiful parks and vibrant gardens, inviting exploration.

Day 7 - Sydney, Canada

Sydney lies on the coast of Cape Breton Island, which throughout history has served as a melting pot of sorts for the many immigrants who have arrived on Canadian shores, including Acadians, Eastern Europeans, Scotsmen, and Africans. Just outside the city environs lies a wealth of sightseeing possibilities, including nature walks and seafaring museums.

Day 8 - Charlottetown

Nestled in the harbor of the same name, Charlottetown exudes both a nautical charm and a Victorian sensibility, with a historic waterfront set against homes that retain much of their original personality. On the south shore of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown's red soil adds to the area's natural beauty. No visit would be complete without sampling the local mussels, which are some of the best in the world.
