Day 4 - Embark Queen Mary 2 in Hong Kong

Contradiction is part of Hong Kong’s attraction. While the city buzzes with modern commerce, soaring skyscrapers and sophistication, it remains a place of ancient beliefs and intriguing local customs. Your guide to Hong Kong. Few cities balance old and new like Hong Kong. A city as fiercely modern as it is traditional, life here pulses with vigour and vitality while still honouring ancient customs and beliefs. Market traders hawk steaming dumplings on neon-lit streets. Sacred temples stand in the shadow of skyscrapers and luxury boutiques populate glossy shopping centres. Contradiction is all part of Hong Kong’s appeal, the city’s dynamic personality a complementary blend of Chinese and British influences. Heralded as one of the world’s foremost culinary, cultural and commercial capitals, a port call here provides myriad ways to satisfy your stomach, your senses and your suitcase.

Day 5 - At Sea

Day 6 - Chan May

A stretch of coastline quite unlike any other in the South China Sea. Passing coastal sand dunes, beautiful green hills and paddy fields, you sail to the historic Vietnamese cities of Hue and Da Nang. Your guide to Hue and Da Nang. A port call to Chan May offers the chance to experience white sand beaches, historic tombs and one of Vietnam’s most famous waterways: the Perfume River. Whether you choose to travel to Hue or Da Nang you’ll be met with a wealth of sights to see, not to mention scenes of indescribable beauty. Both cities are the gateways to some of Vietnam’s most illustrious treasures; from the Ancient Emperor tombs outside of Hue to the spectacular cave labyrinth of Da Nang’s Marble Mountains. Prepare to find your senses piqued, your soul nourished and your heart captivated by otherworldly sights and spellbinding scenery.

Day 8 - Nha Trang

Extravagance is the theme among the fabulous millionaire mansions built in Renaissance, Rococo, French and Victorian style atop Newport’s cliffs. Its yacht-filled harbor has hosted the America’s Cup. With a population of 300,000, Nha Trang still retains its small-town atmosphere and is well known for the friendliness of the locals. Take a ride on the cable cars or stroll along fine beaches below.

Day 9 - At Sea

Day 10 - Phu My

The port of Phu Mey is one of Vietnam’s culinary centres, and your gateway to exploring history-rich Ho Chi Minh City and the seaside resort of Vung Tau. The vibrancy and history offered is enticing. Still fondly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is a continuous whirl of the aroma of fresh noodles, the sight of orange-garbed monks and the buzzing of scooters, all in a French colonial backdrop.

Day 11 - At Sea

Day 12 - Singapore

Modern Singapore is a fascinating mélange of cultures. Browse the shop-houses of Little India, perfumed with fragrant spices and flowers. Have tea in Chinatown where medicine shops and calligraphers line the narrow streets. Meander through the world's largest collection of orchids in the Botanic Garden, and walk through Raffles Landing, the old colonial district with its restored British-style buildings.

Caressing Malaysia’s northwest coast, Penang is a vibrant blend of cultures, religions and architecture, unfurling in an explosion of colours, sounds and scents. Split across mainland Malaysia and Penang island, its colonial capital George Town is a contradictory blend of historic buildings and glossy skyscrapers that’s earned UNESCO world heritage status. Fringed by dense jungle and opal sea, Penang’s sand beaches are things of beauty while its flavoursome street food is among the finest in Asia. Hit the mural trail to discover the city’s 50+ outdoor artworks, walk the Clan Jetty and tantalise your taste buds with a heady array of fusion flavours.

A landscape draped in greenery, stunning beaches, great wildlife refuges and the ruins of an ancient civilisation beckon visitors to Sri Lanka, an island inhabited by man for perhaps half a billion years. The sights of Colombo are many, a combination of British colonial architecture, historical museums, fine restaurants and shopping – especially for sapphires and rubies. Day 26 - Doha

Rising up from the desert, Doha is an ambition being brought to life by the world’s most talented architects, constantly creating awe-inspiring new shapes and angles across the ever-changing skyline. Known as the shining jewel of Qatar, Doha sits on the east coast lapped by the warm waters of the Persian Gulf. Your guide to Doha. Capital of Qatar, one of the world’s richest countries, Doha is a dynamic and progressive city boasting luxury shopping, fine dining and museums as exuberant as those you’d find in Dubai. Yet beneath its sparkling surface lies a historic centre untouched by the hand of time, where heady spices hang in the air and the contemporary skyscrapers seen throughout the city are notably absent. It’s this juxtaposition of old and new that makes Doha such an intriguing and memorable port of call in the Middle East. Whether browsing its designer shops or haggling in its bustling souks, Doha will offer no end of enchanting contradictions.

Dubai is a place of fascinating contrasts, a distinctive blend of East and West, of old and new.
