Best time to visit
As a general rule, the summer months are the best time to visit Alaska. During the peak months of June and July, the midnight sun can bring nearly 24 hours of daylight, which allows you to see and do more things each day. April, May and August can also see mild weather and are often a great option if you wish to experience the verdant landscapes of Alaska with less crowds. From May to September, Alaska is flush with wildlife and there is a real energy at this time, with people and animals alike.
