Located at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur, Cabo San Lucas is one of Mexico’s leading tourist destinations. Its unique combination of beautiful beaches, desert terrain and mountains are a nature lover’s delight. One of its most popular eco-attractions for tourists and sea lions alike is El Arco de Cabo San Lucas (or “Lands End, Cabo San Lucas”), a gorgeous rock formation found at Cabo’s southern tip. Renowned for its marine life, diving, and surfing, Cabo also features some of the best fishing on the Pacific Coast, while at night, the city turns into one of the world’s great party places—famous for celebrity sightings, fantastic restaurants and non-stop action at bars like Cabo Wabo and El Squid Roe.

Visit nearby Iztapa for tuna and marlin fishing, take a tour of a coffee or sugar cane plantation, or unwind at the beach in Balneario Likín, a popular Guatemalan resort town. But a definite highlight at this port is taking a day trip to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Antigua. Dating back to the 1500s, this stunning town nestled between volcanic peaks and located 4,500 feet above sea level, is renowned for its Spanish Baroque-influenced architecture, colonial churches and incredible views.

Follow the Route of the Flowers, which winds its way through picturesque small towns, and celebrates cultural events and cuisine, or visit Chalchuapa, home to the pre-Colombian archeological site of Tazumal. These Mayan ruins are believed to date back to AD 100, and are considered the best preserved in all of El Salvador.

Day 32 - Cobh, Ireland

Arrive: Thu 24 June 2027 at 17:00

Located on the south coast of County Cork, Ireland, the quaint seaside town of Cobh is known for its great maritime heritage and seafaring history. As Ireland’s only dedicated cruise terminal, Cobh was the departure point for 2.5 million of the six million Irish people that immigrated to North America between 1848 and 1950, and to this day, it remains a popular port of call for cruise liners from all over the world. Perhaps this is due in part to the fact that Cobh, formerly known as Queenstown, is renowned as the last port of call for RMS Titanic—and since that fateful day in 1912, Cobh has remained largely unchanged, with the piers and streetscape appearing the much the same as it did over 100 years ago. Many of Cobh’s sites focus on its maritime history, including the Titanic Experience, Titanic Trail walking tour, the Queenstown Story Heritage Centre and tours to Spike Island. There are also hourly rail connections to the lovely town of Cork, situated just 20 minutes away from Cobh.
