Day 1 - Hamburg, Germany

Arrive: Wed 25 August 2027 / Depart: Wed 25 August 2027 at 20:00

The biggest port of Germany, a notorious red-light-district and elegant mansions along the Elbe River ? it?s all in Hamburg! You can get to know the vibrant city of Hamburg during this great tour! On your way there is much to see: you will pass the downtown Alster Lake and the city?s exclusive residential areas, the Jungfernstieg with its luxury shops and shopping malls, the Renaissance-style City Hall and Stock Exchange, modern downtown architecture, parks and gardens, the TV tower, the exhibition centre, 19th century court buildings and plenty more. Time and traffic permitting, you will have the chance to hop off the bus for photo-stops. You will complete your tour of Hamburg with an outside visit of the city?s famous landmark ?Michel? - St. Michaelis Church. The "Kramer Amtsstuben", a well preserved complex of restored buildings, presenting the living conditions in the early 18th century will be also shown in detail.

The Isle of Portland is a tied island, 6 kilometres long by 2.7 kilometres wide, in the English Channel. Portland is 8 kilometres south of the resort of Weymouth, forming the southernmost point of the county of Dorset, England. A barrier beach called Chesil Beach joins it to the mainland.

Falmouth is a town on the coast of Cornwall in southwest England. It’s known for its deep natural harbour on the Fal Estuary, and beaches like Swanpool and Gyllyngvase. The National Maritime Museum Cornwall has interactive galleries and a flotilla of model boats. On Pendennis Point, Pendennis Castle is a well-preserved 16th-century fortress built by Henry VIII. To the southwest, Trebah Garden has subtropical plants.

Day 5 - Cobh, Ireland

Cork, ‘the rebel city’, breathe the essence of Ireland along with the smell of peat and hops from the breweries, mixed with the smell of the ocean. A UNESCO World Heritage city and birthplace of the legendary Beatles, Liverpool, in the north west of England, was founded on the right bank of the River Mersey at the confluence with Irish Sea. It is a lively and bustling city, full of things to do and sights to see, ideal for lovers of culture and for those seeking relaxation. We will visit its theatres, traditional pubs, its historical buildings and cathedrals, streets that are the setting for live music, festivals and events of all kinds. Liverpool, the maritime mercantile city of Northern Europe, also boasts the largest concentration of museums in the United Kingdom outside London, many of them with free admission. A visit to the Albert Dock and all the other piers restructured and transformed into lively and stimulating areas with museums, shops and attractions such as the Tate Gallery, the Merseyside Maritime Museum and the Beatles Story Museum are really worth a visit. Its cathedrals are also stunning: including the massive neo-Gothic Cathedral Church of Christ and the futuristic Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King with its curious circular shape. Symbol of the Royal Navy, a few kilometres from Glasgow is the Port of Greenock: birth place of James Watt, inventor of the steam engine. The local newspaper, The Greenock Telegraph, is amongst the oldest in the United Kingdom. After disembarking in Greenock, you must visit Glasgow, a Scottish City full of pubs and restaurants. Very important museums and art galleries, such as the Burrell Collection or the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. The architecture of Glasgow is one of the most surprising of the United Kingdom, eighteenth-century renovated warehouses of the Merchant City to the massive George Square in Victorian style. Glasgow is also a particularly pleasant city for those who love parks and gardens: enjoy a stroll in the beautiful People's Palace and Winter Gardens or in Strathclyde Country Park in Motherwell.
