The dockyard is home to the interactive National Museum of the Royal Navy, the wooden warship HMS Victory, where Nelson died in the Battle of Trafalgar, and HMS Warrior 1860.

The Holmenkollbakken is a ski-jumping hill with panoramic views of the fjord. It also has a ski museum.

Cruise ships dock at the Ostseekai Terminal in Germania Harbor.

Kristiansand is a city in southern Norway. Its old town, Posebyen, features traditional wooden houses. The southeastern shoreline includes the Bystranda city beach, the 17th-century Christiansholm Fortress rotunda and Fiskebrygga quay, lined with fishmongers selling their catch.
