Owing to its smaller, more remote ports of call, the Maldives is typically only frequented by cruise lines offering smaller, luxury cruise ships, such as Azamara, Ponant, Seabourn and Silversea, although some larger MSC and Costa vessels do stop by on occasion. The limitations on capacity as well as the remote location and incredible setting makes the Maldives a more exclusive, luxurious and romantic cruise destination, perfect for a honeymoon.

Due to the small size and remoteness of the Maldives, these sailings are not frequent, so in order to enjoy a Maldives cruise, it’s better to look for cruises sailing from one of the larger cruise ports with access to the Indian Ocean.
