Destinations
Since joining the team, I’ve been fortunate to experience many incredible cruises and visit some truly amazing destinations.
One highlight was travelling on the iconic Blue Train from Cape Town to Pretoria, followed by a safari in Kruger National Park. South Africa is packed with bucket-list adventures, but nothing compares to a safari. I’ve never felt such a deep sense of peace as I did while being immersed in nature and witnessing wildlife in their natural habitat – an experience I’ll cherish forever.
I’ve also enjoyed numerous Caribbean cruises. There’s something special about crystal-clear blue seas and white sandy beaches, and the Caribbean offers them in abundance. I love exploring the many different cultures just as much as I enjoy a relaxing day on the beach, and the Caribbean truly offers the perfect balance of both.
Cruise Lines & Ships
With such a wide variety of ships available, there really is something for everyone. I’ve been fortunate to cruise with many different lines, but two that I always return to are Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean.
Celebrity Cruises is all about refined luxury. Their exceptional dining and premium onboard entertainment really need to be experienced firsthand to fully appreciate the attention to detail and outstanding level of service.
Royal Caribbean is our go-to choice for family cruising. There’s so much for both children and adults to enjoy – it truly is a ship for everyone. From kids’ clubs to climbing walls, there’s always something to keep you entertained, and the Aqua Show is without doubt one of the best shows I’ve ever seen at sea. If that’s not enough, their private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, deserves a top spot on every cruise enthusiast’s must-do list – it’s a truly magical and idyllic escape.
