Amber Cove is so named because it produces some of the clearest amber in the world, and it's also pretty clear why you would want to visit. Home to dolphins, stingrays, sharks, and once upon a time - pirates, Amber Cove is a place for adventure and relaxation.
The island resort hosts fine dining, luxury shopping, and amazing bars, all of which you can enjoy alongside adventure activities like ziplining, and diving the Waterfalls Of Damajagua!
The waters around Amber Cove might not contain pirates anymore, but you can still see amazing wildlife. Swim with dolphins, feed sea lions, and snorkel with nurse sharks (known as the puppies of the sea!) at Ocean World Puerto Plata.
Amber Cove features an amazing pool which winds its way across the resort, with a range of waterslides available too. You'll have a splashing good time at the Aqua Park. If you'd like a little more adventure then consider using the resort zipline, a fantastic way to get a rush, and see amazing views of the park. For more water fun there are kayaks, paddleboards and other water toys available for you to take out and explore the beautiful cove, and mountainous peaks.
Home to five food and beverage outlets, Amber Cove caters to every passenger with a range of fantastic food. Try Coco Caña, who serve classic American dishes with a domincan twist, bringing you firm favourites in Caribbean fusion. If you don't fancy leaving the pool, then the swim-up bar is for you, stay relaxed in the water with delicious refreshments. Coffee lovers will adore El Cibao Café, serving fantastic locally sourced coffee, it's so good you can buy a bag to take home with you and keep the Amber Cove flavour in your very own home.
Amber Cove offers a range of unforgettable excursions and experiences, both on and off island. Take to the water and swim with dolphins, a bucketlist activity for many you'll get up close and personal with these beautiful animals. Get an adrenaline rush at the Waterfalls Of Damajagua, a guide will lead you on a hike through the jungle to reach an awe-inspiring waterfall where you'll be kitted out to jump into the water below!
